Senior Center Donations
How do I donate to the Senior Center?
The Council on Aging (COA) usually does not need any magazines, books, puzzles or games. Sometimes we take some if we know there is a demand or our own supply at the Senior Center is low. To check on the current status, call the COA at 508-841-8640.
Donation Details
Books
You may donate books to the Got Books? program. There is a large, gray metal bin for this located in the Senior Center's side parking lot. You can drop off books to this at any time.
Medical Equipment
The Council on Aging currently does not need any medical equipment for the Senior Center itself. Sometimes a senior will need medical equipment or supplies. When this situation occurs, we work with other agencies to help them get what they need. When someone is looking to donate, we recommend they contact one of these agencies: Agencies
Furniture
The Council on Aging currently does not need any furniture for the Senior Center itself. Sometimes a senior will need furniture. When this situation occurs, we work with other agencies to get the furniture they need. When someone is looking to donate, we recommend they contact one of these agencies:
Currently, our Busy Hands Knitting Group (link) will take in yarn and related materials on occasion when their supply is running low. We rarely take other craft supplies. If you have a question about a particular craft item to donate, call the Council on Aging at 508-841-8640.
