Awards

SMC has won numerous awards in competitions near and far for individual programming and for overall excellence. SMC also gives out its own awards each year for Producers of the Year, Community Impact, and SPACle award. Listed below are some of the major awards won by SMC and also the results of this year's individual awards.

Shrewsbury Media Connection - Thanks to all of you who worked so hard this past year to make SMC the best. All of the programming that's on SPAC-TV28, SETV-29 and SGTV-30 contributed to our winning the Hometown Video Award for Overall Excellence in PEG Access this year. Congratulations to all of our community producers!

Special Citation Award
SELCO for TV productions for the Parks and Recreation Department done with Angela Snell, Director of Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation and Maria Sheehan, SGTV 30 Government Access Coordinator and to Jackie Pratt for maintaining the Recreation Department's website and listserv. Their work has helped in promoting recreation and leisure services within the State of Massachusetts.
