About the Office of the Town Accountant
The Accounting Office ensures the Town is in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Federal and state laws, and Town Meeting authorizations. All Town financial questions and inquires should be directed to the Town Manager's Office at 508-841-8508.
The Accounting Office is responsible for:
- Keeping records of all contracts and grants
- Processing of all bills, warrants, receipts, payroll and ledgers
- Record keeping of all financial transactions of the Town
- Supplying departments with financial reports and payroll information
