The Shrewsbury Police Department conducts marine patrols of Lake Quinsigamond during the boating season.
- Boating laws are cover by Massachusetts General Chapter 90B.
- Officers concentrate their efforts on:
- Boating safety
- Boating
- Environmental law enforcement
- Safety equipment inspections
- Officers will also assist the Shrewsbury and Worcester Fire Departments in water rescue.
- The Massachusetts Environmental Police also monitored and enforce boating Laws and Regulations.
