Library Book Groups


The Library offers two book groups.  The Eclectic Browsers Book Group is held the third Wednesday of the month at 10 AM.  The Shrewsbury Readers Book Group is held the first Thursday of the month at 7 PM.  Please check our online calendar for upcoming book group meetings. You can also call the library for more information. There is no need to register for the meetings, just show up and enjoy!

English for Non-Native Speakers


The Shrewsbury Public Library obtained a grant for English Conversation Circles from the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. We are happy to offer 5 sessions a week, for English language learners to practice speaking English in an informal environment. There are both beginner and intermediate classes available. We offer free notarization of documents, including acknowledgment, jurat, signature witnessing, and copy certification. Please call 508-841-8533 or email Reference Librarian Walker Evans to make an appointment.
