Town Clerk

The Town Clerk is considered the center of town government and is a major source of information for the residents.

Town Clerk:

  •  Issues licenses and permits including marriage license, dog license, business certificates & raffle permits
  •  Maintains General By-Laws, Zoning By-Laws, Personnel By-Laws, and Traffic Rules and Regulations
  •  Records all appointments and resignations of all town officials.
  •  Overseas all local and state elections

  2. Presidential Primary March 3, 2020

    The deadline to register for the Primary is February 12. 2020. The Town Clerk's Office will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. for voter registration. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by February 12.
  3. Early Voting for March 3rd Presidential Primary

    Early Voting February 24 to February 28. Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Early voting location is Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave., Shrewsbury, MA. Check in at the Town Clerk's Office.
