August is the peak time of year to spot the Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) as adults emerge from trees The U.S. Department of Agriculture is declaring August as “Tree Check Month.”

Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB) Cooperative Eradication Program

ALB personnel wear vests with USDA or DCR written on the back. In addition, personnel may knock on resident's doors to identify themselves.
