Important Information Regarding Changes to Permits and Inspections
Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Inspections:
Smoke/carbon monoxide detector inspections are now being done in person. Inspections are conducted on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00-11:00am. A virtual inspection may be requested at the time of scheduling, based on certain health risks and other factors related to COVID-19.
Open Air Burn Permits: Open air burn permit applications can be submitted via US mail or in person at Fire Headquarters, along with a check for $25 made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury. Click the link below for a printable version. Open Air Burning Permit Form
