Important Information Regarding Changes to Permits and Inspections
Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Inspections:
In an effort to follow the guidelines set in place by the CDC, we will now be conducting smoke/carbon monoxide detector inspections virtually. The homeowner/realtor should call Fire Headquarters (508-841-8522) at 8:00 am on the desired date of inspection. When calling, please have the complete address, along with year of construction or any substantial renovations or additions. At that time a virtual inspection via FaceTime will be scheduled.
Open Air Burn Permits: Open air burn permit applications can be submitted via US mail or the drop box outside of Fire Headquarters, along with a check for $25 made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury. Click the link below for a printable version. Open Air Burning Permit Form
