March 2022On March 22, 2022 the Board of Selectmen voted to revise the charge of the Police Station Building Committee to include the review and recommendation of a design concept for the renovation of the Town Hall located at 100 Maple Avenue.

March 2021On March 9, 2021 the Board of Selectmen voted to adopt a revised charge and rename the Police and Municipal Campus Building Committee to the Police Station Building Committee. 
March 2021On March 1, 2021 the Police and Municipal Campus Building Committee voted to enter into negotiations with Fontaine Bros., Inc. as the CM @ Risk for the Police Station project. 
September 2020Special Town Meeting approved Article 1 to borrow up to $42,000,000.00 to fund the construction of a new police station and completely replace the existing public safety radio system. 
May 2020The Board of Selectmen appointed members included in the charge to the committee on May 26, 2020.
February 2020Tecton Architects met with various departments at the municipal campus to discuss current and future space needs for their respective departments
January 2020Town contracted with Tecton Architects to act as the Architects for the project.
December 2019The Designer Selection Subcommittee interviewed three architect firms: Lavallee Brensinger Architects, Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc., and Tecton Architects
November 2019The Designer Selection Subcommittee was established.
October 2019Architectural/Design Services Request for Proposals was issued.
September 2019Town contracted with Construction Monitoring Services to act as the Owner’s Project Manager for the project.
May 2019Town Meeting approved an appropriation request for $250,000 to begin a multi-phase project, which will ensure these facilities, or their replacements, meet the operating needs of their respective departments.
