Parks & Cemetery Commission
The Parks and Cemetery Commission meets on a monthly basis to discuss budgets, policies, and capital projects, and they also approve the sale of lots at Mountain View Cemetery.

Planning Board
The Planning Board is responsible for guiding development of land and growth within the Town of Shrewsbury.

Police Station Building Committee
The current Police Station, Town Hall and Senior Center are located on a single campus at 100 Maple Avenue, and each provides municipal services to the residents of the Town of Shrewsbury. The Police Station (11,000SF) was constructed in 1971 and renovated and expanded in 1996. The Town Hall (28,700 SF) was constructed in 1966 and renovated and expanded in 1997 with recent renovations to the second floor in 2017. The Senior Center (11,400 SF) was constructed in 2000. The campus provides common driveways, parking and egress routes for visitors and employees of Town offices. In May of 2019 the Town Meeting approved an appropriation request for $250,000 to begin a multi-phase project, which will ensure these facilities, or their replacements, meet the operating needs of their respective departments.

The Shrewsbury Retirement System is one of 104 state and municipal retirement systems in Massachusetts.

The Scholarship Committee collects and reviews applications for the Town Scholarship every March.

Sealer of Weights & Measures
The Sealer of Weights and Measures ensures the integrity of marketplace purchases of goods and commodities.

Sewer Commission
The Board acts upon abatements, petitions for sewerage, and financing of proposed construction.

The SELCO Commission is granted its authority, responsibilities, and obligations under MGL c.164.

Shrewsbury Development Corporation
The Shrewsbury Development Corporation is responsible for the economic development of Town-owned property on South Street.

Shrewsbury Trails Committee
he Shrewsbury Trails Committee, a community volunteer group, provides information about trails to town residents so they can explore and make use of trails in Shrewsbury. The committee was formed in 2011 at the recommendation of the Town's Open Space Plan. The committee is supported in it's efforts by the Town's Planning, Parks & Recreation, and Engineering Departments.
