About the Recreation Department

Recreation is responsible for the planning and coordination of the town's recreational activities and park facilities. We have several sports programs, activities and many special events that we run throughout the year.

Facilities include; 17 Parks, 2 State owned boat ramps, 5 School Athletic facilities, the Donahue Rowing Center building and grounds, the front lawn of the Town Hall, the Town Common and Veterans Squares. Maintenance of the parks is handled by the DPW- Park Maintenance Division.
